Step by Step Guide to install clockworkmod recovery on Micromax A90S
Download the recovery in .img file from the link above.
Copy the recovery.img file to the root of your sdcard(Don’t place it inside any folder).
Install MobileUncle MTK Tools (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuncle.toolbox), a toolbox for mediatek devices, from the play store.
The application is in Chinese, you might have some problem going through it. Still, find an option to “Update Recovery”.
It will ask the location of the img file you want to flash. Point it to the file you pasted in your sdcard in step2.
Your phone should reboot now.
